Common Dreams Falling

“The minute I said, ’I’m slipping, I’m falling,’ your love, God, took hold and held me fast.”
Psalm 94:18 (MSG)

Falling Dreams

Falling dreams occur frequently and could be linked to feelings of insecurity and uncertainty.  A falling dream may be the result of feeling overwhelmed or out of control. Perhaps a drop in confidence has caused you to doubt yourself and your capability.

13 “You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit them together in my mother’s womb.  14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! It is amazing to think about.  Your workmanship is marvellous—and how well I know it.”
Psalm 139:13-14 (TLB)

Life Application

You may have experienced failure, a ‘drop’ in confidence or have been comparing yourself with others. I would encourage you to stop holding up your life and achievements in comparison to someone else’s. This will inevitably foster feelings of insecurity and ideas that you might be constantly ‘falling’ short of others’ expectations. Why be a copy when you can be an original?
